Guide for Supplying Files

  • All print ready files will be printed as supplied; please ensure your files are flattened @ 300ppi CMYK & checked, as no responsibility will be taken for printing variations resulting from the quality of the file supplied.
  • We print to high industry standards, but if your files are too dark/light or low resolution, they will print poorly and are beyond our control.
  • Colour - A computer screen is not like print - Get a hard copy proof. Screen colours (RGB) are not the same as printed colours (CMYK), and are only approximate. They will look different on different monitors, and different again to what is actually printed. Please let us know if you require a hard copy proof.
  • For best results, use professional vector-based programs like Adobe Illustrator, Coreldraw or similar.
  • Home programs such as MS Word, Publisher, etc can’t deliver professional results. Excel is made for spreadsheets, PowerPoint is made for screen slideshows; neither is made for printing. If using home programs we suggest you get a proof copy to ensure the output will be how you are expecting it.
  • Where possible, always supply PDF (Portable Document Format) files. PDFs freeze formatting and embed fonts within the document, so PDF has the best chance of printing correctly.
  • If your print goes right to the edge of the page, please supply the file with bleed and cropmarks.
  • Not an expert? No worries! We can create your artwork for an hourly charge.
